SEE Change Roving Regenerators

Operated by SEE-Change and Capital Scraps, and supported by the ACT Government

Welcome to Roving Regenerators!

Roving Regenerators is a project by SEE Change and Capital Scraps dedicated to increasing community resilience to climate change through building the skills of our community in soil carbon capture and storage. We mostly do this in the form of composting - a fantastic way to ensure that food scraps and waste goes to good use, and that our local environments are well looked after.

We teach hands on skills in composting and soil carbon management through:

  • Working Bees to collect, compost, and distribute material

  • Educational Sessions to share knowledge and skills to as many people as possible

  • Community Partnerships to ensure that our compost is used effectively, and to help everyone grow together

There are a wide array of volunteering opportunities as part of roving regenerators, including Carbon Preparation and Stockpiling, Compost Heap Maintenance, Weeding, and Mulch Spreading.

We partner with several community gardens and schools in the ACT, spreading knowledge and inspiration through many communities.

This project is co-delivered with numerous composting, gardening, and soil health experts who live and work in Canberra.
